Deliveries to eastern Europe increased 67% to 5,073 trucks. In North America, deliveries dropped by 54% to 5,308.
Total deliveries decreased 8%, to 30,423. Volvo attributed the fall to North America where new emissions legislation brought-forward many potential orders into 2006 and “continues to make an impact on the delivery statistics”.
