Beijing Automotive Investment (BAIC) may team up with battery supplier Panasonic to buy Saab in order to make electric vehicles, reported ttela.se.
“Yes, we are considering it, but it’s also a rather complicated business,” said Mao Hai, vice president of BAIC.
Saab receivers have already had a bid from Chinese company Youngman for between US$327m and $475m.
