Autoliv’s net sales in the second quarter of 2015 were down 3.8% year on year to US$2.29bn and operating income plunged 49.7% to $208.7m.
The supplier expects Q3 sales to grow 7%.
Autoliv has agreements with several OEMs for supply of replacement airbag inflators and expects to supply up to 20m mainly in 2015 and 2016.
