Under the direction of Walter de’Silva, SEAT’s design team has given the Salsa a much more sporty look.
The once silver Salsa is now a sporty red – an effect created by applying seven layers of transparent red resin, giving depth to the colour.
The Salsa spearheads the multi-driving concept (MDC). It has three different driving modes, Sport, Comfort or City, which can be selected depending on the driver and the driving conditions. Each mode gives a different driving position, transmission (Tiptronic or automatic), and provides the driver with different information and assistance through the instruments.
The Salsa is described by SEAT as ‘in effect, three vehicles in one’.
It is equipped with a 2.8 litre V6 250 bhp engine, 5-speed Tiptronic gearbox and intelligent 4-traction.
