Honda is planning a new logistics centre to cover southern Europe and north Africa. The centre will be built just outside Barcelona on part of the Montesa Honda site, where currently the Spanish motorcycle sales subsidiary, the Honda Safety Institute and production plant are all located.
 
The new centre will store and process parts for Honda’s car, motorcycle and power equipment businesses, serving Spain, Portugal, Southern France and North African countries.

In addition, the centre will manage motorcycle logistics for the whole of southern Europe. The company said in a statement that the new centre will be operational from late 2013.
