According to Yonhap News, the National Institute of Environmental Research, affiliated with the Ministry of Environment, imposed fines on Mercedes-Benz and Ford’s Land Rover for mistakenly installing European-compliant emission-control devices into their vehicles instead of US-compliant devices.
