According to Reuters, members of the 23,500-strong union went on a four-hour strike Wednesday after the company fired a leader who had ordered overtime staff to stop working for three hours without previous consulting management.
A Kia spokesman reportedly said Wednesday’s partial strike had caused about $8.54 million worth of production losses.
