Hyundai Motor reportedly said on Wednesday that it may merge its truck engine joint venture with DaimlerChrysler into its core operations, ruling out getting a new foreign partner.
According to Reuters, Hyundai terminated its engine production and planned truck alliances with DaimlerChrysler in May and said it would buy DaimlerChrysler’s 50% stake in the truck venture for $US52 million.
