Hyundai Mobis plans to establish new large-scale distribution centres in the US, China, Russia and Brazil over the next year.

The move is in line with Hyundai Motor Group’s global expansion of its vehicle production facilities and a need to improve aftermarket parts provision as sales of Hyundai and Kia cars grow worldwide.

Hyundai Mobis completed construction of a car part storage centre in southern Russia earlier this year. Over the past few months, it has also built auto component storage centres in Shenyang, China and northern Russia. Hyundai Mobis plans to establish a large-scale distribution centre in Brazil over the next year. In addition, construction of additional auto part warehouses in Dubai, the Middle East and Dallas, the US, where it is already operating distribution centres, will be completed in a few months.

Hyundai Mobis is planning to increase its global distribution bases to 35 by the end of this year.
