Overseas plants operated by the group’s two carmakers – Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors – produced more than 1.51m units during the first 10 months of the year.
The figure is larger than last year’s total overseas output of 1.46m units, and the largest ever overseas output recorded by a local carmaker, the Korea Herald noted.
