Hyundai
Motor has developed a fuel cell-powered vehicle.

The fuel cell model, based on the Santa FE SUV, was unveiled at a research
centre in Namyangju, east of Seoul. It was developed in conjunction with the
U.S. International Fuel Cell organisation.

Hyundai said that the vehicle can travel 160 kilometres (100 miles) without
refuelling and has a maximum speed of 124 kilometres per hour (78mph).

The new vehicle, which has a 75-kilowatt fuel cell and a 72-litre hydrogen
tank, will be tested in California next month.
