According to Yonhap News Agency, South Korea tyre manufacturer Hankook Tire will supply two tyres for Mercedes-Benz Atego trucks under a new original equipment tyre (OET) deal.
Hankook will supply eight types of DH05+ and AH11 products for the Atego light-to-medium trucks. These two tyres are designed for optimal driving characteristics, durability and uneven wear resistance. They have wide treads for grip and strong breaking qualities.

This new deal follows a 2012 one for Hankook’s tyres for North American Freightliner brand trucks. Freightliner is part of Daimler, which controls Smart Automobile and Mercedes-Benz. Hankook had also begun supplying tyres for Mercedes-Benz C, E and S Class luxury sedans in 2013.
