GM Daewoo Auto & Technology Co. has opened a design centre at its Bupyung plant that will oversee automotive interior and exterior styling, the company said on Tuesday, according to Dow Jones Newswires.
Construction of the two-story design centre was begun in February with an investment of 6.5 billion won, the report added.
The design centre is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including model showrooms and presentation rooms, GM Daewoo said in a statement cited by the news agency.
The centre is expected to focus on the development of new cars, including large-sized luxury cars and SUVs, GMDAT said, according to Dow Jones.
