General Motors Corp., the world’s largest automaker, conducted due diligence on Korea Delphi Co. and about 60 other local companies that supply vehicle parts to insolvent Daewoo Motor Co., Bloomberg News reported, quoting the Chosun Ilbo newspaper.
According to Bloomberg, the report said that the U.S. vehicle maker evaluated the cash flow, profitability and technology skills of the companies that provide much of their auto parts to Daewoo Motor. The newspaper cited an unidentified official at General Motors Asia Pacific.
