The strike at Toyota’s Durban plant has ended after management and workers agreed on a 5.7% pay rise, according to the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa.

Toyota estimated it lost 2,430 units of output during the three-day walkout. It is South Africa’s largest vehicle manufacturer, producing 120,000 vehicles a year, half of which are exported.
