US-based voice recognition company SoundHound AI has collaborated with Tencent Intelligent Mobility to enhance voice and conversational AI capabilities within the automotive sector.
This partnership allows Tencent Intelligent Mobility to deliver dynamic, localised user experiences across global markets that are looking to offer end users with seamless handsfree experience to a range of in-vehicle applications.

Tencent Intelligent Mobility will integrate SoundHound Chat AI Automotive, an advanced in-vehicle voice assistant. This integration will enable drivers and passengers to access apps, car controls, and entertainment domains and large language models (LLM)-powered generative AI responses only via natural speech.
SoundHound’s conversational voice intelligence can manage intricate conversational questions and filter responses, ensuring users receive pertinent information.
The company’s proprietary arbitration technology also aims to mitigate risks associated with AI hallucinations and misinformation generated by LLMs.
SoundHound, currently, provides solutions in over 25 languages to automakers worldwide.
