German automaker Volkswagen expects car component manufacture to rise above 2 million per year at its plant in Martin, Slovakia.
The 50 mil DEM, 920.8 mil Kc site, commissioned at the end of May 2000, also expects to increase employee numbers from its current 120-strong workforce to 450 during 2001.

The 50 mil DEM, 920.8 mil Kc site, commissioned at the end of May 2000, also expects to increase employee numbers from its current 120-strong workforce to 450 during 2001.
VW`s investments in Slovakia are expected to be around 305 mil DEM in 2000, with total investment by the company within Slovakia having already surpassed 1.1 bil DEM in Slovakia since 1991.
