Hyundai Motor affiliate Kia Motors plans to increase production at its plant in Slovakia by over 10% to 285,000 vehicles this year following a similar rise in output in 2011.
Production rose to over 252,000 vehicles last year while engine production increased 12% to 359,000 at the Zilina facility. Engine output is expected to rise to over 450,000 units this year.
