“The company will resume two eight-hour shift operation as of 13 July due to a rising demand in some European markets and the planned launch of a new car model,” Kia spokesman Dusan Dvorak told AFP.

Kia cut production at its plant near Zilina, northern Slovakia, to two six-hour shifts earlier this year to offset low demand amid global economic crisis.
