Ferrari unveiled the 968bhp SF90 in May, its first PHEV, named to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Scuderia Ferrari's founding. It will be the fasted series production car ever from Ferrari. The hybrid tech and AWD will give the car a top speed of 212mph and accelerate from 0-124mph in 6.7 seconds.

The 'F154' V8 has a capacity of 3,990cc and produces a claimed 769hp as well as 590 lb-ft of torque. There are three motors producing a combined 217hp: two at the front and one at the rear between the engine and gearbox, giving all-wheel drive. The lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 7.9kWh lithium-ion and this allows an electric-only range of up to 25 kilometres or sixteen miles. Drive is to both axles via an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The 1,600kg SF90 Stradale uses a bespoke platform constructed from carbon fibre and aluminium.
