Once fully operational, the facility will have the capacity to produce up to 10,000 vehicles annually, employing around 1,000 workers. It will produce Howo-branded heavy-duty trucks and special vehicles.

Sinotruk said it will begin shipping production equipment for the plant in October, starting with chassis and cabin production machinery, followed by body welding and paint shop equipment in the first half of 2026. The joint venture aims to gradually increase the use of locally sourced raw materials and components, strengthening the local supply chain.
