The Toyota Corolla Altis ranked highest in the midsize car segment followed by the Nissan Sentra, which had a 19% improvement since 2004, with 116 PP100. The Honda Civic was ranked third at 137 PP100.
The Toyota Revo had the fewest reported problems (91 PP100) in the SUV segment and the fewest reported problems on six of the nine IQS categories. The Mitsubishi Adventure followed with 118 PP100—a 42 PP100 improvement since 2004. The Isuzu Crosswind ranked third with 149 PP100.
The study showed 96% of surveyed customers experienced no problems with their new vehicles and said they were pleased or delighted with their overall ownership experience.
More than three in four customers said they would definitely recommend their model to others.
In contrast, fewer than four out of 10 of customers who reported five or more problems indicated similar intent.
