Cooper Standard plans to expand in Serbia, the mayoral office of Sremska Mitrovica said.
Mayor Branislav Nedimovic, after a meeting with Cooper Standard country manager for Poland and Romania, Petar Gask, said the company was still considering a location for the expansion and Sremska Mitrovica was one possible location.

“We are sure that the city can meet Cooper’s expectations. Operations in Serbia will enable my company to grow and become more competitive in Europe”, said Gask.
Cooper Standard is looking to rent a factory with an area of 7,000 sq m and will hire 300 workers with expansion possible later.
