SalzachSonne has connected to Gireve’s roaming platform, opening its network to EV drivers to charge EVs, no matter their eMSP subscription.
Based in Austria, SalzachSonne offers energy systems, renewable energies and charging points for electric vehicles in Salzburg and Tyrol.
“The partnership with Gireve gives us opportunities to make our service more user-friendly and convenient for guests visiting the region and aspiring to charge their vehicles with green energy,” said SalzachSonne’s Energie & E-Mobilitätslösungen, Edwin Bachmaier.
SalzachSonne operates a network of 3-phase AC-chargers with a nominal power of 22kW. Most of the operator’s infrastructure and customer service is based on Etrel’s backend-system.
Thanks to its network of partners in the region, SalzachSonne is planning to cover the whole touristic region with a closed mesh of chargers to make it more attractive for visitors to use EVs.
Gireve is a start-up created in 2013 by players in electric mobility : Renault, CNR, la Caisse des Dépôts, EDF et Enedis.
