Investments are estimated at $US50 million and the project will result in production of Opel Astra, VAZ-2109, Daewoo Lanos and Tavria models from assembly kits.
The project is to be completed by 2004, when ZAZ will annually produce 15,000 Opel Astras, up to 60,000 Daewoo Lanos, 20,000 VAZ models and 25,000 Slavuta and Tavria vehicles.
