Wabco said it had entered into a new long term agreement as major supplier for a comprehensive range of advanced and conventional technologies with one of Russia's largest heavy duty commercial vehicle manufacturers.
The new agreement marks further expansion of the supplier's partnership with this customer as its is now engaged as major supplier of anti-lock braking as well as electronic braking systems; traction control and electronic stability control; and electronically controlled air suspension, among other braking and air management products.

Wabco was awarded its major supplier relationship after a tender. The supplier claimed its "differentiation is furthered through its comprehensive offering of advanced systems and conventional technologies produced in best cost countries, resulting in delivery of high quality products at optimal cost efficiency. In addition, local Wabco application engineers support this customer throughout product development and completion of successful homologation".
