As hopes rise of a recovery in Russia’s automotive sector, figures just released show a strong uptick in Russian tyre output.

Russia’s car tyre output rose 60.4% year-on-year in the first quarter to 5.623 million tyres, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a report.
