Sollers has assigned its joint venture (JV) with Mazda, Mazda Sollers Manufacturing Rus, to produce SsangYong cars, a company official told Prime News.
The projected capacity of the JV is 100,000 cars including 35,000 SsangYongs annually. The JV is costing RUB10bn.

Sollers said earlier that it will launch facilities for the production of spare parts in a special economic zone (SEZ) near the far eastern city of Vladivostok where the JV is located.
