Renault plans to increase car production this year at Moscow’s Autoframos by 45.5% to 127,000 cars, deputy CEO in Russia Daniel Levot said after the launch of Duster SUV production.
The company plans to sell several versions of the vehicle priced from RUB449,000 (US$14,200) to RUB681,000.
“The maximum number of these vehicles Autoframos can produce is 80,000 cars a year,” Levot told Prime News, adding, in 2012, Renault plans to boost Autoframos total output by 10% to 175,000-176,000 cars per year.
