Michelin has reported that its output of tyres in Russia is up 11.6% in the first half of the year (over the same period of last year) to 597,000 tyres.

Russia’s vehicle market this year is in recovery from severe recession, helped by a scrappage scheme that has kick-started demand for new cars, especially those produced in Russia.
