Russian truck maker Kamaz and the Federal Mogul Corporation of the US have launched joint production of auto components in the constituent republic of Tatarstan, Kamaz said in a statement.

The 50-50 joint venture established in 2008 will produce engine parts which initially will all be purchased by Kamaz, CEO Sergei Kogogin said.
