The vehicles - able to carry up to 11 people - can be used in either local conflicts or border control and will be delivered to the Frontier Service in the second quarter of this year.
The KamAZ truck plant is to begin production of armoured vehicles – based on the
AWD off-road KamAZ 4326 model – ordered by the Federal Frontier Service, say Russian
sources.
The vehicles – able to carry up to 11 people – can be used in either local
conflicts or border control and will be delivered to the Frontier Service in
the second quarter of this year.
They also offer better personnel protection – in comparison to other armoured
vehicles – from all types of firearms, including large calibre machine guns.
