Russia’s largest truck maker originally halted work on the line to clear stocks that had built up due to slowing demand.
The company’s PR director, Oleg Afanasyev, was quoted saying: “As scheduled, the car plant’s main assembly line will be restarted on 7 September.”
KamAZ has not yet finalised its expected level of output for September, the report added.
The company has suspended production several times this year due to a decline in demand for trucks in Russia’s recession-hit economy.
In 2008, Kamaz produced 51,005 trucks.
