AvtoVAZ increased domestic in Russia by 38.6% in the first five months of this year compared to the same period in 2010.
The company sold 236,511 vehicles in January–May and also exported 20,620 of its Lada vehicles during the same period.

In May, AvtoVAZ sold 51,860 Ladas in Russia, up 13.2% year on year with 4,954 exports.
The Lada Kalina was the most popular model in the first five months with 59,249 vehicles sold, up 95.5%, the company said.
