The company resumed production on two production lines that produce Sobol light trucks and GAZel minibuses.

The lines producing cars are to resume operation on Friday, the official said.

On November 26, the company’s press service reported that GAZ had partially stopped vehicle production from November 26 until December 5.

The press service said the step was taken so that the plant could “optimise technological processes” and prepare equipment for production in 2005.

The company’s production of GAZel and Sobol vans, trucks and minibuses had been stopped for a period of six days, while truck production had been stopped for three days, the company said.
