Ford-Sollers, the joint venture between Russian automaker Sollers and Ford, will starts production of the EcoSport crossover in 2014 at an upgraded plant in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny and the Edge crossover at the Yelabuga plant, the joint venture said in a statement on Monday.
The EcoSport and Edge will expand the Ford Russia SUV range. The Explorer and Kuga are already on sale, Prime News reported.

The EcoSport will be offered with 1.6 and two litre engines and manual or automatic transmissions.
The Edge will have a 3.5 litre engine with automatic transmission and four wheel drive system.
The two models will be adapted to the requirements of Russian buyers, Ford-Sollers said.
