Workers at Ford’s Russian assembly plant have ended their go-slow after a week without gaining anything from management.

Normal production resumed on 28 November, with workers still demanding a pay rise.
According to Reuters, union officials at the factory in St Petersburg said action may resume if pay demands are not met.
Snior official Alexei Etmanov said: “We’ve started working as usual. At the moment we have peace.
“We’ll have to see what happens by the end of the week. We are holding talks at the moment.”
He told the news agency the union would meet next week to decide whether to take further action.
The facility was one of the first to be opened in Russia by a foreign car maker and plans to turn out 36,000 Focus models this year. It is Ford’s only plant in Russia.
