Russia’s car output rose 68.1% year on year to 104,000 units in January-February, according to Russian reports citing the economic development ministry.
Most of the strong growth was attributable to low comparative output during the same period last year, reflecting falling demand and some production stoppages.
The reports said truck output rose 29.4% to 11,900 units.
