AvtoVAZ has said that it has set up a department dedicated to supply chain management. The department will focus on logistics and dealership solutions.


Traditionally, AvtoVAZ more or less supplied itself with close to 100% vertical intergration, but the company is now looking towards new procurement solutions – especially now that it is a member of the Renault-Nissan alliance that has focused on supply chain economies and synergies (and especially savings in procurement).
