AvtoVAZ plans to triple its revenue to 330 billion roubles in 2020 from 110 billion roubles projected for this year, according to a report in the Kommersant business daily.
The report cited a business plan at AvtoVAZ as source. According to that plan, AvtoVAZ plans to increase its car production to 1.24 million units in 2020.

The carmaker plans to produce nine models on ¾ platforms in six segments by 2020.
Specifically, these are platforms B and C, a platform for crossover models, and a platform for existing Kalina cars, Kommersant said.
AvtoVAZ will focus on producing three models – a low cost car, a restyled Priora, and a C-class model, the newspaper said.
The report added that AvtoVAZ’ business plan has already been approved by its board of directors, but still has to be supported by government bodies.
