AvtoVAZ, Russia’s largest carmaker, could approve a concept for restructuring the company early next month according to Igor Zavyalov, deputy CEO of industrial conglomerate Rostekhnologii and chairman of the restructuring committee.

The committee met Tuesday to consider the restructuring concept presented by AvtoVAZ president Igor Komarov. According to Zavyalov, the management plans to agree on a final version of the strategy with the company’s shareholders in early February.
