In August AvtoVAZ assembled 65,380 vehicles, an increase of 5,5 percent, including 8,770 units for export.
AvtoVAZ is the largest manufacturer of passenger cars in Russia. Company’s revenue for the year 2004 amounted to 160 billion rubles, net income made up 4.5 billion rubles.
