The car, which is being developed with input from Renault, which now holds a 25% stake in the Russian company, is due to go into production late next year at AvtoVAZ’s Togliatti factory.
The company launched a contest for the name of the new model in June. The winner will receive the 26 millionth car produced at Togliatti which rolled off the assembly line earlier today.
