A commission of the Russian–Belarusian–Kazakh customs union has approved giving import tariff preferences to 21 auto manufacturers, according to a commission resolution published on the customs union’s web site and seen by Prime-Tass.
Under the ruling, the companies will enjoy tariff preferences when importing auto components for assembly.

Russian companies included in the list are IzhAvto, Sollers-Naberezhnye Chelny, Avtoframos, GAZ, GM AvtoVAZ, Volkswagen Group Rus, General Motors Auto, Nissan Motor Rus, Severstalavto-Yelabuga, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Russia, Obyedinennye Transportnye Tekhnologii (United Transport Technologies), Ford Motor Company, AvtoVAZ, UAZ, MAKSUS, Hyundai Motor SNG, Severstalavto-KAMA, Khimeks Group, and Sollers Far East.
The list also includes Belarusian company UNISON and Kazakh company Asia Auto.
