
Tim Fallon, the former head of manufacturing at EV startup Rivian, is joining Stellantis, Reuters reports.
He will be Stellantis’ head of manufacturing in North America, taking his role in September.
His move comes as the automaker prepares to launch a number of BEVs.
In turn, Rivian has appointed a former Stellantis executive, Carlo Materazzo, to oversee its production in the interim, according to CEO RJ Scaringe in an internal memo seen by Reuters.
Carlos Zarlenga, COO for Stellantis North America told Reuters that Mr Fallon joins the automaker: “as we enter this critical stage of our transformation […] with this year marking the start of our electric vehicle offensive.
