The Croatian city of Sveta Nedelja has approved a building permit for Rimac Automobili’s planned EUR200m campus.

Rimac will have a 69 year ground lease, the city said in a statement cited by SeeNews.com.

The agreement obliges the company to complete construction within three years of starting.

Rimac previously announced its plan to build the campus, which will accommodate 2,500 employees, in order to support its long-term growth plans.

The 100,000 sq m campus, on twice that area of land, will include an on-site test track and accommodation for visitors and new employees.

Construction starts later this year with completion expected in 2023. It is near Rimac’s current headquarters in Sveta Nedelja, SeeNews.com noted.
