The Renault Group said it would redevelop its organisation around its brands, grouping them into four business units: Renault, Dacia, Alpine and New Mobility. Each unit would be an autonomous organisation.

“This project aims to create a simpler and more results-oriented organisation, while strengthening the cohesion, motivation and sense of belonging of the teams thus grouped by brands,” the automaker said.

“The company needs to change its ‘game module’ and move from a search for volume to a search for value and profitability. The organisation around four strong brands and large cross functional functions would make it possible to work in a simpler way, more oriented to the markets and customers,” said CEO Luca de Meo.

The project will be headed by Meo, Denis Le Vot, EVP, regions, sales and marketing at Dacia, Cyril Abiteboul, MD of Renault Sport Racing, for Alpine, and Clotilde Delbos, Renault group deputy CEO and CFO, for new mobilities.

More details will be announced after the plan is prepared and detailed to group workers.
