On 1 October, Jana Striezel will join Renault Group as director of purchasing for Renault and Alliance global director of purchasing Europe.

Striezel will operate under APO (Alliance Purchasing Organisation) managing director Gianluca de Ficchy but report to CEO Luca de Meo.

She will also be a member of the Renault management committee.

Striezel (44) was CEO of For-Med then partner at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, before joining Volkswagen in 2014 as head of the antitrust department.

In 2017, she headed a task force to reduce emission pollution worldwide.

Two years later, she was appointed executive director corporate purchasing exterior for both the group and the VW brand.
