Back office functions of formerly separate Peugeot and Citroen importers in Poland are being merged and formation of a new company is expected soon, a local report said.
Showrooms will not change and each brands will remain separate with its own PR, marketing and sales structures. However, the financial and customer care departments will be merged. Eventually Peugeot dealers will be authorised to service Citroens and vice versa. Layoffs are expected in the areas where jobs could be doubled.
