“It is my pleasure to open this new factory in Poland, which reinforces our presence in a country that is becoming the geographical centre of the automotive industry in Europe. Our company celebrates its 50th anniversary this year with strong positive financial results – said Alberto Bombassei, president of Brembo.
The new plant cost over EUR100m (US$139m) and is a full manufacturing plant.
It is double the size of the previous factory and is 90,000 sq m. The new plant will employ 1,200 people on 39 production lines and in two foundries.
